A phenomenal place to dine in at ,a must go place if you’re passing through for the long trips &’excellent customer service,Evan Pepper the manager there really goes above and beyond to satisfy his customers!

Everything but my steak was good. Asked for a medium. Got over cooked. They said sorry. Lol

Terrible. Waste of $75. Cold food. Tough flavorless steak, raw shrimp,Watery mashed potatoes. Salads were delivered at the same time as our meal. Large portions of cheap low quality foods. Everything tasted freezer burnt. Waitress was very forgetful or perhaps new to waitressing. Only 2 positive comments I can leave were that the rolls and butter were excellent plus we were happy to learn we could order alcoholic beverages there. Will not return or reccomend.

Worst steak I have ever had asked for medium rare got a very overly cooked steak also I asked for dessert that I never received

Love the Texas theme and the buffet was very good. Service was good for how busy they were. I would go back for sure if I was in the area.

Food was good. Could do a little better job of identifying the food on the buffet. What I thought was chicken strips turned out to be fish. I don't care for fish and since I don't eat beef very often I had no meat to eat.

Outstanding. The Black and Blue Burger was great, and huge. They have Calf Fries, what a surprise. Pretty good, too. Waiter was obviously new, but did a fine job. Food quality was high, dining room was clean. All in all, an excellent dining experience. We'll be back!

Very Tasty Food and nice classic service

If you are in Carthage, TX and looking for something good to eat, this is the place. They have a lunch buffet that will fill you up, and great service. FYI: The Stuffed Bellpeppers and chicken fried steak on Wednesdays are Awesome!

First time there. Food was delicious. Kinda disappointed that salad bar was closed, but understand. Service was good too. We will certainly return.

Fabulous! Our meal was perfect. My burger was juicy, and the creamed spinach is a knockout. If you're in Carthage, the Longhorn Grill is a must!

This restaurant has gone above and beyond to make their customers enjoy a meal in Carthage, Tx. We really enjoyed our Ribeye and catfish. They should have margarita salt though. My “dressed” beer had table salt. The bread and butter, and the crawfish/corn on the cob was awesome!Update:Well a year later and I don’t know what has happened... I guess all of the good cooks are on spring break. They messed our order up several times... I hope that management will see this review and make corrections accordingly. The shrimp was ice cold in our appetizer then extremely hot(too hot to eat for 10 mins) when they brought it back out, they gave me a 5pc shrimp skewer instead of a 10pc. The mixed drink I had was way too salty... both times...

Good food and friendly service. I ate from the lunch buffet. Everything was fresh and tasted great.

Amazing aged Ribeyes great flavor definitely recommend.

Service sucked, food was straight off the sysco truck and deep fried. I could have cooked that meal faster and better at home.

1st time visitor & I really loved the curbside service! His name was Emerie (like Emerald, I know I'm not spelling his name right🤦) He was genuinely pleasant, friendly, & most helpful despite me being a bit indecisive. He had no problem handing me menus to place an order since the buffet inside the restaurant was not open to individuals. The Shrimp Basket was very filling and satisfying! The rolls & butter that comes with it plus the Peach Cobbler, heaven! The portions are not small so you get your money's worth & you will get full. However, there seems to be an issue with the T-Bone Steak. My mom wanted well done but the meat was still a little pink so she will save it to cook longer for later. Other than that, I would visit again!

The rolls are sooooo good, I ate 10 myself. Salad great. First time to try calf fries and let me just say amazing. I've been craving them. Simply delicious. Love the ranch dressing too. Definitely a place you need to try.

The customer service was great the stuffed bell peppers on that country buffet didn't disappoint either. That cinnamon butter for those soft delicious rolls had me reminiscing for grandma it was good southern comfort food!

We had the lunch buffet. Great fried catfish! After work we went back for 1.50 pints in the little bar area. They need more seats in there! But the service both times was great.

Lunch buffet or order off menu, we choose the buffet. Home cooked cabbage with bacon , the best green beans like grandma makes, chunky mashed red potatoes with cream gravy, hand breaded chicken fry and coconut cream pie... Now that's some good home cookin' 🤤😋💗

Dinner rolls were hard as rocks.My T-bone steak was oversalted. But they made it right. My mashed potatoes were cold they brought me mire potatoes but they were Luke warm.The salad was ok.The waitress was polite.

Just went for hard to find Carthage happy hour. Wife and I enjoyed happy hour menu offerings at agreeable prices. Bartenders are pleasant. We shall return and have a meal next time.

I do believe this is the best steak we've had since moving to Texas 8 years ago! I'm picky about my steak but they got it right the first time! Service, food, everything just awesome!!

Hidden Gem! We were traveling and accidentally stumbled on to the best kept secret... Longhorn Grill! The staff were so friendly especially Nick and Leighann❤️ ❤️

Got there around 615pm I ordered apps and meal apps final got there. Meal didnt get to us until 715 we too it to go got home and the order was wrong the chicken fried steak was bland, white gravy was greasy, and the scalloped potatoes was very greasy. I do not recommend this place

Great steaks everytime we come here. Cooked just the way we liked them. Better steaks than what we have around San Antonio.

Great place! And great food!I order from the menu and the food was definitely tasty! Really enjoyed it and best of all, their personnel is really nice and friendly. Food was brought to us with a real good timing in respect to our order and really enjoyed having lunch here.
